MONDAY: THE BASELINE BREAKER
The Intern Mindset Must Die

You're not here to be picked. You're here to take up space.
You've been walking through your life like an unpaid intern.
Hoping. Watching. Waiting to be chosen.
Raising your hand tentatively. Asking if it's okay to contribute. Apologizing before you speak. Living like you need someone else's signature on your dreams.
That version of you dies today.
The trap you've been living in: "I need more time, experience, or validation before I can act like I belong here."
The truth that sets you free: You already belong here. You just forgot how to act like it.
While you're waiting for someone to promote you to the position of "person who gets to live boldly," other people with half your qualifications and twice your courage are building the life you keep postponing.
Here's your 5-minute emancipation:
Make one decision today that the future version of you would make. Not the tentative, permission-seeking version. The bold, unapologetic version who acts like they already are who they're becoming.
Don't consult anyone. Don't research for three hours. Don't wait until tomorrow when you "feel ready."
Make the call. Send the message. Start the project. Book the trip. Have the conversation.
Do it like someone who doesn't need permission to exist boldly in their own life.
Because that's exactly who you are.
You don't need more confidence. You need less delay.
The world doesn't need another person asking for permission to be brilliant.
It needs you to stop asking and start being.

Five minutes of action beats five years of "someday."

P.S. The day I stopped asking "Can I start training for a marathon?" and just started running was the day everything changed. What are you going to stop asking about and just start doing?
